=SUM(range)
Adds together all numbers in the selected range. e.g. =SUM(B2:B6)
=AVERAGE(range)
Calculates the mean average of a set of numbers. e.g. =AVERAGE(C2:C5)
=MIN(range) & =MAX(range)
=MIN finds the lowest value. =MAX finds the highest value.
=COUNT(range) vs =COUNTA(range)
=COUNT counts cells with numbers only. =COUNTA counts any non-empty cell (text/names).
=COUNTIF(range, "criteria")
Counts cells that match a rule. e.g. =COUNTIF(B2:B6, ">10") or =COUNTIF(C2:C6, "Yes")
Manual Operators (+, -, *, /)
Use symbols for simple calculations: + (add), - (subtract), * (multiply), / (divide). e.g. =B2*C2
